Kauno lopšelis- darželis „Saulutė“
Once upon a time the Grand Duke Gediminas went hunting four miles from Trakai. Near the River Vilnel he reached a beautiful mountain (now called Taurus Mountain) and a huge beast - Taurus was standing on it. The Duke hunted the beast and noticed that the evening is coming.
It was too late to return home to Trakai, so he stayed for overnight in the Šventaragis Valley (where the Cathedral stands nowadays). While he was sleeping there, he dreamed that a huge iron wolf was standing on a nearby mountain, and as if a hundred wolves roared from his throat. When he awoke, he asked wizard Lizdeika to explain the dream. Wizard explained that the iron wolf armor meant that the fortress will be built in this place and it will be solid, unbreakable. And the loud howl of the wolf indicates that the sound of this place will be spread throughout the world. Grand Duke Gediminas immediately ordered the construction of two castles at this place, and later moved the capital from Trakai to this place and called it Vilnius.
