Tale summary
The story depicts the formation of a certain Romanian region, which is said to have been inhabited at one point by an enormous dragon. This dragon would eat whole oxen or even people, and its breath would cause cold winds and weather. After a while, the dragon got old and died, and its body, being too big to be moved, was covered with dust and sand. This led to the creation of various mountains, hills and valleys.
