Tale summary
According to the legend, king Jaime I went to inaugurate the new canal in Guadassuar. The villagers transformed his arrival in a big celebration. Since many men were at war, the King allowed the single ladies to dance with his soldiers. The dance celebration is preserved even today and is one of the favourite event for the people in Guadassuar, where they wear nice costumes and dance a lot.
