‘La Tortuga y la Liebre’ es una fábula sobre una orgullosa liebre y una tortuga que se desafían mutuamente a una carrera. La Liebre, creyendo que nunca podría perder ante una criatura que se mueve lentamente como la Tortuga, se detiene a descansar, creyendo que tiene todo el tiempo del mundo disponible. La Liebre termina durmiéndose, y la Tortuga gana la carrera.
