Tale summary
Children from „Nightingales“ group (3-4 years old) listened to the tale read by Ilze's mom. The kids really liked the story being read by another person, they actively answered the questions and told their own stories. Children especially liked to illustrate the characters of the tale. Children drew with gouache, chalk, did the applique and stamping. While working, children talked about the behavior of the characters in the tale, where they live, what they eat. Everyone liked the Ouzel, felt were very sorry for his little kids, scolded the fox for the ugly behavior. Children were very happy with their work, told about the characters they had drawn, their behavior to the parents who came in the evening. Most parents asked when they would be able to read the tales because their children also wanted them to be involved. We are delighted to have contributed to this project.
