Tale summary
Children from Butterfly Group (pre-school) listened to the Russian folk tale "The Fox, the Rabbit, and the Rooster", read by Dmitry's mom throughout the week. To keep the kids focus to listen to the same tale, we changed the reading places: sitting on the carpet, lying on the carpet in the bedroom, sitting on a soft, sitting on the tables. Children performed the works with different techniques: fingers, gouache, felt-tip pens, applying details from geometric shapes. They worked with passion, creativity. We put the children 's works into one book. The children made the cover of the book, wrote the title of the tale. We put these booklets with descriptions into the children's achievement assessment portfolios. Children talked about the actions of the characters and decided that they do not wish to be "Fox", it would be better to be a bold "Rooster" and to help all the weak.
