The tale “About the hedgehog that shephered the pigs” is a short Norwegian folk wonder tale in which the main character the hedgehog can turn into a human being. The tale is based on the ideas of truth and goodness. The core value of the hedgehog is good for good and bad for bad. In this tale the value system is based on the following of the given word. The hedgehog is taking drastic measures for Lords to force them to keep their promise.
