1.1.1 Introduction

Preschool refers to a learning environment where children can experience early education before beginning compulsory education at primary school. According to researchers, children who have pre-school learning opportunities seems to have better academic results. Moreover, the first years of life seem to be fundamental for the healthy cognitive, emotional and physical growth of children, which can be supported by early childhood education.
