Helping families to support educational and cultural activities at home means encouraging their participation in school life by providing clear and readable information which are strictly related to the school educational proposals. This information is related to:

• Time, timetable and school routines( school day activities);
• Secular Inclusion, which means both giving parents information about the secular role of the school but also about the possibility of choosing Religious Studies as a subject;
• “Mixing” with boys and girls coming from other countries;
• Extra-curricular activities (their relevance, how they can be chosen by families and how they are  organized by the school); 
• Relationships between school and family: referring both to meetings and interviews, as well as to different ways to cooperate by using notices, messages etc.

The assumption is to activate a dialogue of interaction, respect and cooperation between school and family, to share differences in order to see them as a cultural enrichment. The school has the duty to support parents in order to let them develop confidence in their potential in the educational field. This path will allow them to strengthen their awareness and to develop a responsible attitude inside their domestic life. Activity at home are “special homework”: parents with their children do this special homework altogether. Special homework is:

• To prepare a cake, to prepare a pizza, to prepare an orange juice,…
• To build simple things with recycled materials according to a specific pattern that teachers provide to parents.
